Love the banner. Change the navbar to a purple one, the blue doesn't really go with the theme.. I think you should delete the debates corner and religion as it will come to flaming and tension in the forum sooner or later..Also I like your welcome message. Just remember, this is my opinion

IMO...
the forum's banner looks good, but kinda slightly plain or something, its just not impressing to me, i think, [Sorry for that, its just my opinion]. And about those icons with those categories, It really matches those categories, but in the anime and manga section, i really can't say if it has any connection with the picture XD I suggest if you could find an anime or so.

I'm not completely a fan of the color, and some people may assume that it's a 'girly' forum. To be honest, I also think it would look better if the forum icons were not so large.

Yeah, I would agree with turtle, your theme seems to be a little too much of a lean towards the female gender.
If you want more traffic, try to make it neutral.
Look at your forum, and think to yourself, "Can I really see a boy with this on his computer screen?"
